Images
If you want to show an image on your pages, all you have to do is click the Image-button in the top of the menu at the left. A small window pops up and you have to tell it where the image you want to upload resides on your harddisk.
Google Pages will upload the image to their servers and ask you  to drag it to the right place. That's basically it!
You can also use a webadress to show an image, but you should only do that if it's your own, otherwise you're stealing bandwith from someone else. And you should not forget that lots of images are copyrighted!

Links
If you want to create a link, just type the anchor text (that's the text that is shown in the link), highlight it and click 'Link' in the menu at the left. A small window pops up, asking you to which page this link should point. You can select a page on this website or any other link on the web.

Change Look and Lay-Out
All you have to do to change the look and lay-out of your pages is click the buttons at the top right when you're creating pages. Just select what you like. You can preview it first.

Text lay-out
Just fool around with the buttons in the menu at the left. You can instantly see what they do to your text. Experiment with them!

Saving Pages
Sometimes I found that after creating a page it could not be saved (that's done by clicking the 'Publish'-button at the top). That's because of the connection that was dropped for some reason.

If you experience similar problems, all you have to do is look at the right top of your page where it says 'connect'. Click that link, and Google tries to re-connect to the Net to save your pages.

Simple huh?
